One of the most exciting, fun and valuable experiences for the student is the extension from the classroom to the stage, which comes at our annual performances in June. We normally have our recitals at Memorial Jr. School, but at this time it is unclear whether or not we will be permitted to use the school due to COVID-19. Therefore, we have secured an outside facility where we can have our shows to ensure the show will go on!
We will have to make significant changes to how we operate our recital this year, including:
Fewer classes per show to reduce the number of students backstage
Fewer seats in the audience to adhere to social distancing guidelines
In order to cover our expenses, this season we have to discontinue the two free tickets and free recital videos. However, we will offer cost savings where we can:
Tickets will remain $20 per person (on March 15, 2021 a charge of $40 will incur to ensure each family two seats to the recital)
Families with students in separate shows will receive 50% off all tickets purchased
Costume alterations will be provided free of charge, as needed
If we cannot accommodate all of your ticket needs or you have family members who are hesitant to attend the recital in person, we have the recital digital link/DVD option available. Recital videos are $35 per show. Families with students in multiple shows will receive a $5 discount on additional show videos.
As a reminder, costume fees are being withdrawn on November 15. Costume ordering begins the first week of December. Costumes are made to order and therefore are not returnable.
We are grateful for your continued support and sorry these necessary changes have to be made in order to have our recital.
