The studio is more than just a place to learn how to dance - for many of our students, the studio becomes like a second home. At our dance studio in Whippany, NJ, our students learn to trust and to express themselves, they learn dedication and accountability, and they learn how to build and nurture relationships - with their teachers, their peers, and themselves.
Dance helps you stay healthy both mentally and physically. Using your body all the time to dance can help you learn a lot about what it needs - when you need water, when you need to take it easy. It’s important to pay attention to what your body needs so that you can dance your best, and more importantly, feel your best.
Dance allows self expression with creative movement - releasing your inner thoughts, feelings, and emotions - good and bad - is great for your mental health.
Dancers are often the best at time management because they balance dance, school and academics, home life and chores, and other extracurriculars and activities.
