Registration: An annual non-refundable fee is required at registration. Sibling registration is free. Classes are confirmed with completed registration including payment plan.
Payment of Fees: Tuition is paid by automatic bank account or credit card, V/MC. Our preferred method of payment is checking account. Debit cards are not accepted. Post dated checks or cash, including costume is accepted in person only at registration. Fee schedule options: Ten (10) payments: September 1 – June 1. Two (2) payments: September 1 and January 1. One (1) payment: September 1. All withdrawals occur on the 1st of the month. Tuition plans are a convenience and are not based on the number of weeks in the month. All NSF bank charges will be automatically charged to your existing payment method.
Recital: All students are automatically registered for recital. If you decide not to participate in the recital, you must notify the studio office by October 30th by filling out a Recital Non-Participation form. It is understood that if you do not complete the form by October 30th you will be charged for costumes. FREE to all families, a DVD of your show, a practice CD and 2 recital tickets per child. ($90.00 value!)
Costumes Fees: Costume fees will be charged to your automatic bank account or credit card, V/MC. Competition and performing group costume charges occur on September 15th. Recital costume charges occur on November 15th. Costume fees are non-refundable once charged.
Withdrawal and Refunds: A one-month notice is required to discontinue any class. Withdrawal must be done in person with the school office and not the teacher. No refunds for withdrawals after March 1, accounts will be charged through and including June 1. No refunds for missed lessons. Makeup classes are available through April 15th, scheduled through the office.
Inclement Weather: It is the parent’s responsibility to call the studio one hour prior to class time for information on school closings. Make up classes may be taken.
Dress Code: Required dancewear and dance shoes must be worn to all classes. Any color/design dancewear is acceptable. Suggested shoe colors are: pink ballet and pointe shoes, black flat tap shoes, black jazz shoes or jazz sneakers, tan lyrical sandals or dance paws, black Irish step soft and hard shoes. Boys wear all black shoes. Students are not permitted to wear street clothes or street shoes.
Parent’s Responsibility: I agree to have my child dressed appropriately for class. I agree to drop off and pick up my child on time. I agree to regularly check the studio calendar to ensure I am informed on dates and events. I agree to inform the school of any address, telephone number or account changes.
Photo Release: The school is hereby granted permission to take photographs of the students to use in brochures, web sites, posters, advertisements and other promotional materials the school creates. Permission is also hereby granted for the school to copyright such photographs in its name.
